0.3.0 (2026-10-01)
Section titled “0.3.0 (2026-10-01)”The story update: the main story, the Ascension into a new life and five new places in the mountains.
- Main story, Acts I–III. The Village Elder tells you about a flash of light in the forest; Heilgrun the Swamp Witch in the Mistfen Marshes wants her staff back from
Drowned Abbot (
The Abbot's Staff) and sends you into the mountains. Act II leads past the Goatherd, Dr. Acula and his daughter Tessa up the Mountain of Fate, and the story continues across your lives. Story cards mark the big moments. See Story.
- Ascension at level 50. The Ascension now happens from level 50 in Foundation Establishment, on the summit of the Mountain of Fate. You keep your family name and choose a new first name, race, gender and look for each life. See Ascension.
- Ascension Vault. Everything you carry and all your Gold go into the Ascension Vault when you ascend, and you take it back whenever you like. Nothing is destroyed any more, heirlooms are gone, and your donated guild Gold stays yours.
- New names. Generations are now lives (“Life 2”), the family tree shows your former lives; the Ancestral Tree, Ancestral Shrine and Ancestral Echo are now the Soul Tree, the Soul Shrine and the Echo of a Former Life.
- Memory Fragments come only from an Ascension; they no longer drop while gathering or from elites.
- Quests per life. The story chapters of Act I and II return in every life, because the world forgets you. See NPC quests.
- New zone: The Cliffs (from level 20, by the Mule Track): mountain steel, the
Steel Pickaxe, the Goatherd and the
Cave Troll Chieftain.
- New zone: Castle Acula with the dungeon A Friendly Duel. Party mates can join the final duel against
Dr. Acula as guests, each with their own entry and chest. Acula's Coach takes you there straight from the village.
- New place: The Last Bite. Tessa’s roadhouse with her stamp card: deliver ingredients for stamps and trade them for food, gear, the Kitchen Brigade set and skins.
- New zone: Mountain of Fate with spirits of every element, the
Spirit of Fate and the summit of the Ascension.
- New zone: The Temple, found through the story: the monks, the offering to Jizo, the
Bell Oni and the third realm, Golden Core.
- Four new gear tiers, new rare and legendary drops and the dungeon set Acula's Evening Wear. On the coast you can now dig sand and find sea glass.
- Waking up after a defeat happens at the nearest place to rest in the mountains instead of the village. The castle and the temple repair gear at a markup. See World & Zones.
- New achievements: Regular Guest for Tessa’s stamp card and new hidden boss trophies.
- Seven rarities. Gear rarities get new colours: Common green, Uncommon blue, Rare orange, Epic red and Legendary yellow. Above them come two new, very rare tiers with a shimmer: Celestial and Godlike, with more affixes and higher stats. The mythic tier is gone; the pieces of the dropped sets Vestments of the Drowned Abbot and Fen Pact are now Epic. See Rarities.
- Stronger imprints. Imprints now also come on Celestial and Godlike gear, and are stronger there. See Imprints.
- Group fights rebalanced. The enemy in a party fight acts once per round again and gains HP and attack instead, so larger groups win more often. Some late bosses grow more slowly with every fighter, so they are meant for parties. See Parties and group combat.
0.2.3 (2026-09-29)
Section titled “0.2.3 (2026-09-29)”- NPC quests. People in Dawnmere Village, the Mistfen Marshes and on the Saltwind Coast give you quests, marked with ! and ? in the scene and on the world map. Zone quests can be done again in every generation, story chapters once per family. See NPC quests and the notice board.
- Notice board. Daily and weekly notices in Dawnmere Village. See NPC quests and the notice board.
- Invite friends. Invite friends with a single-use link; every friend who reaches level 10 and keeps playing gives you permanent bonus character EXP. See Invite friends.
- Monster categories. Every monster now belongs to one of six categories, each with its own hunt achievement and damage bonus. See Achievements.
- Hidden boss trophies. Some bosses unlock a hidden achievement with a badge.
- Zone slimes. The
Bog Slime in the marshes and the
Brine Slime on the coast drop
Bog Gel and
Brine Gel, with new recipes for
Antidote and
Kelp Tonic. See Mistfen Marshes and Saltwind Coast.
0.2.2 (2026-09-28)
Section titled “0.2.2 (2026-09-28)”- Achievements and skins. New account-wide Achievements with rewards, for example a small damage bonus against slimes, and character skins you pick under Appearance. Wearing the full Softfur set unlocks the Softfur Bunny skin. See Achievements.
- Cloak slot. A new equipment slot, Cloak. The
Softfur Cloak is now worn there, on top of body armour, instead of replacing it; a cloak you already wore moves there on its own. See Equipment.
- Fix: after an update, character figures could show up wrong or cut off until the page cache expired.
0.2.1 (2026-09-27)
Section titled “0.2.1 (2026-09-27)”- Group fights, fully playable. Party frames show every fighter’s HP, mana, stamina and threat; the round timer shows who the round is waiting for. You can change your pick until the round resolves, defend, see area attacks coming and join a party mate’s fight from their party card. See Parties and group combat.
- Class gear. From level 15 every class can craft its own four-piece set; only that class can wear the pieces, and the Auction House filters by class. See Class gear.
- New class art. All class figures (four classes, human and elf, female and male) are new, larger pixel art.
- Sets at a glance. Set pieces are marked in blue, active set bonuses in green; crafting marks set recipes and shows their bonuses. See Sets.
- Fix: joining a group fight that had already lapsed no longer causes an error.
0.2.0 (2026-09-27)
Section titled “0.2.0 (2026-09-27)”- Parties. Form a party with friends or join a public party on your map. Party mates on the same map share a slice of each other’s EXP, without a daily cap. See Parties and group combat.
- Group combat. Join a party mate’s running fight, even against a boss. Everyone picks an action each round; threat decides who gets hit, and bosses answer with area attacks. The Warrior learns
Challenge. See Monster abilities.
- Classes earlier. The class trial opens at level 15 instead of 20; with Early Calling at level 10. See Classes.
- Less EXP from weak enemies. Enemies far below your level give much less character EXP. See Leveling.
- Cheaper upgrades. Upgrades cost about 40 % less, and every upgrade level adds at least +1 to the item’s main stat (this fixes rings and amulets). See Upgrades.
- Softfur Set. The first crafted set of the forest, with gear that speeds up actions. See Sets.
- Crafting is split into equipment and materials & consumables. See Crafting.
- Rabbit Meat is now called
Meat.
- Forest balance.
Green Slime,
Blue Slime and
Wild Boar are a little weaker; their EXP, Gold and drops are unchanged.
- Chat fixes. Your whisper conversations survive a reload, and without a language setting you see both global channels. See Chat and friends.
- Fix: very long offline queues (membership) could not be started.
0.1.3 (2026-09-27)
Section titled “0.1.3 (2026-09-27)”- Momentum per series. The press ladder now carries across the runs of a repeated action and starts again after 60 s without a press. See Momentum.
- Weakened has levels. A lost fight applies Weakened I. The new
Lesser Cleansing Draught (alchemy) removes it and heals a little. See Attributes and stats.
- Trading needs only a verified email address and level 5; the account-age and play-day conditions are gone. See Auction House.
- Momentum check. The picture check is now a clear dialog that ignores taps made before it appeared.
0.1.2 (2026-09-27)
Section titled “0.1.2 (2026-09-27)”- New zone: Saltwind Coast. Reached by the Coast Road, with tides, a lighthouse to rest in, new monsters and the boss
Old Ironclaw. See Saltwind Coast.
- Academy of the Five Phases. A new building in the village for cultivators from Foundation Establishment on: Elemental Infusion and Re-attunement.
- Shorter forest actions. The four starter actions of the forest take half as long, with half the EXP per run and the same yields. See World & Zones.
- Momentum starts stronger. The first press now saves 30 s.
- Login calendar shows the next reward time in your own clock.
- Fix: taps on phones sometimes landed in the wrong place.
0.1.1 (2026-09-27)
Section titled “0.1.1 (2026-09-27)”- Animations are always on by default; the system’s reduced-motion setting only applies with the “Follow system” option.
