Monsters
This page was last checked against game version 0.2.2; the game is now at 0.3.0. Some explanations may be out of date (tables are always current).
Every monster in AscendMMO lives in one zone or dungeon. The tables show each monster’s category, level range, element, abilities, stats at its lowest level, EXP, Gold and drops; sort them with the column headers.
Normal monsters appear at random while you fight in a zone, and they leave the pool once you outgrow them. Elite enemies only show up through a random event after a gathering or meditation run. Zone bosses have a level requirement and a respawn timer after every fight.
Enemies 5 or more levels below you give only 20% of their character EXP, see Leveling. In a party you can join a mate’s fight against normal monsters, elites and zone bosses; the enemy grows stronger for every fighter.
What are monster categories?
Section titled “What are monster categories?”Every monster belongs to one of six categories, shown with an icon under its name: Slimes, Beasts, Spirits, Undead, Crustaceans and Humanoids. Each category has its own hunt achievement that makes you permanently stronger against it. Each zone has its own slime: the forest slimes, the Bog Slime in the marshes and the
Brine Slime on the coast.
