Momentum
This page was last checked against game version 0.2.1; the game is now at 0.3.0. Some explanations may be out of date (tables are always current).
Momentum is the button that shortens a running action. Every press takes time off the current run, and each press saves more than the one before, also across the runs of a repeated action. Now and then the button asks you to tap a picture first; solve it and you get a small bonus.
How much time does a press save?
Section titled “How much time does a press save?”The saving grows while you keep pressing: the first press takes off a little, every following press a bit more, until each press saves the maximum. Long actions and repeated runs therefore profit most from staying at the screen.
Formula
seconds saved by the n-th press of a repeat series = min(120, 30 + 10 × (n − 1))Example: Press number 5 of a series saves 1 min 10 s; the first 5 presses together save 4 min 10 s.
Data from game version 0.3.0 · f8531c1 (2026-10-01)The count carries across all runs of one repeat series: when the next run of a repeated action starts, your next press continues where you left off. It starts again from the first step when you start a new action, or when 1 min pass without an accepted press. Only accepted presses count: a press while the button is still recharging, or while a check is open, does not move you up the ladder.
Why does the button wait between presses?
Section titled “Why does the button wait between presses?”After each accepted press, the button needs a few seconds to recharge. The exact wait is random within 2 s to 6 s; the button shows when it is ready. If you press before that, the wait gets 0.5 s longer, so rhythmic tapping without looking is slower than watching the button.
What is the check (“Tap: …”)?
Section titled “What is the check (“Tap: …”)?”Every now and then a press does not save time. Instead, Momentum rests briefly and shows a few small pictures with the task “Tap:” and the name of an item. Your action keeps running while the check is open; nothing is lost.
- Right picture: the check disappears, Momentum works again, and you get a small reward.
- Wrong picture: you get a new check right away.
- Too slow: after 30 s the check expires; your next press shows a fresh one.
- Wrong 3 times in a row: Momentum is locked for 5 min. The game shows when it opens again, and your action still finishes on its own.
The check keeps automated clicking out of the game. It never costs you a run, items or Gold.
What does a solved check give?
Section titled “What does a solved check give?”Each solved check gives either EXP or Gold, chosen at random (Gold in 50% of cases). The EXP is a small share of what you need for your next level, the Gold grows with your level. EXP bonuses do not apply to it. Only the first right answer to a check pays.
Formula
EXP = max(3, round(1% × EXP for the next level)) or Gold = max(2, round(1.5 × level))Example: At level 10, a solved check gives 32 EXP or 15 Gold.

Section titled “Tips and common mistakes”- Don’t spam the button. Pressing before it is ready only makes the wait longer. Watch the ring and press when it is full.
- Press through long actions. Because each press saves more, a few minutes of attention on a long run save far more than on a short one.
- Read the check. The pictures are shuffled and change every time; take a second to find the right item.
- Going away is fine. Actions finish without Momentum, and repeated runs continue while you are offline.
